Holly Williams

Director | Principal Psychologist

Holly is a Registered Psychologist who specialises in the area of child and adolescent psychology. Holly has experience working in private practice, and in primary and secondary schools, providing intervention and assessments across the lifespan. Holly comes from a background working with children and adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health, including life stressors, adjustments, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. Holly has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent children and their families, including support with managing emotions, daily life and schooling. Holly also has experience conducting psychological assessments for ADHD and Autism in children, and prides herself on supporting families through this process.

Holly prioritises creating a comfortable, non-judgmental therapeutic environment to promote feelings of safety and trust, and encourage openness and honesty. Holly takes a client-centred approach and uses a number of therapeutic approaches, tailored to each individual’s needs.

Amanda Douglas

Registered Psychologist | Board Approved Supervisor

Amanda strives to work compassionately with individuals from various diverse backgrounds. She is easy-going and can provide a safe space for you to freely share your experiences and emotional burdens.

Amanda engages two primary focuses. The first entails long term therapy endeavours with adults to explore their interpersonal relationships. For example, Amanda has worked with people who have faced feelings of guilt, blame, regret, anger, and uncertainty about relationships and will often use the therapeutic space to build her clients boundaries, confidence and communication skills whilst supporting you to develop insight and a strong sense of self. She also enjoys working with individuals to overcome difficulties such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and self-esteem issues and has experience working with individuals with trauma and psychotic illnesses. The second focus is assessment work across a lifespan. She has engaged in assessment work through a non for profit and had the privilege of working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) since its beginning stages in 2017. She has completed extensive work in this space both as an assessing psychologist and as an endorsed Behaviour Support Practitioner. She can work with participants and supporting staff within this space to provide intervention and has a thorough understanding of the reporting requirements.

Amanda embraces several approaches in her work and ultimately ensures a client centred approach. Her areas of practice include interpersonal psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused and mindfulness techniques.

Dr Belinda Minett

Dr Bel Minett is a clinical psychologist who has worked in the mental health and disability field for the past 20 years. Bel obtained her Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical) at Deakin university in 2013 and has worked across both the private and public sector holding a variety of roles.
Bel specialises in child and adolescent psychology and has experience working with children and young people with a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, autism and ADHD. She views family/caregivers as playing a pivotal role when working with children and adolescents and uses a strength based, person centred approach when determining therapeutic plans.
Bel has extensive experience in working with children who are neurodivergent and their families to provide meaningful support and interventions focused on managing emotions, support with school, transitions and daily life. Bel is familiar with supporting people who use alternate and augmentative communication devices.

What happens during a child assessment?

The full assessment process typically takes place over 2 to 3 sessions across a few weeks. This allows our psychologists to understand your child, gather insights from you, and provide accurate, well-informed recommendations.
